What is a PREMIUM market?

For years when discussing the current Real Estate market we have used the terms Buyer’s Market and Seller’s Market

Let me introduce you to the PREMIUM MARKET of 2021!

In a Seller’s Market, a seller can usually anticipate selling their house just at, if not a few thousand over the asking price, or “market price” based on comps.

In a Buyer’s Market, for example 2008, a buyer could expect to buy a house at the bottom of the market and sometimes for less than what the sellers paid for the house.

2021 has brought us a new term…PREMIUM MARKET.

This is a market not many people are familiar with. The Premium Market happens when the buyer is willing to pay a premium for your house and sign a waiver stating they can, and will, buy your house no matter what it appraises for.  These buyers are paying 10-20% above market price, as well as closing fees that have traditionally been paid by the seller.

What does all of this mean for you?

The Alexander Home Team - Keller Williams will sit down with you to discuss what we feel the “MARKET” value of your house is, and what we think the “PREMIUM” market will be.  This is a free, no-obligation meeting. We want you to have all of the information to make an informed decision on what is best for you and your family.

If you’re interested in setting up a meeting with Brad to discuss the value of your house, give us a call at 512-361-1568.
