One of the most common things we hear from home sellers in the Central Texas real estate market is:
“We have time.”
Unfortunately, in today’s market, time is not always on your side.
There was once a time in Kyle, Buda, and the greater Austin area where sellers could price a house above market value and still negotiate strong offers later. That is not today’s real estate market.
Right now, buyers are more cautious, inventory is increasing, and homes that sit too long can become stale. Just like a loaf of bread left on the counter, buyers begin to question why the home has not sold.
