Giving Back to the Community That Has Given Us So Much

For more than a decade, the Alexander Home Team – Keller Williams has had the privilege of helping families buy and sell homes throughout the communities we call home. Over those years, our business has grown, our family has grown, and the communities around us have grown right along with us.

Through all of that growth, one thing has remained constant: our community has always been there for us.

Now, we want to do even more to be there for our community.

We are excited to announce that for every real estate transaction we close, the Alexander Home Team will donate $200 in our client’s name to a local charity, nonprofit, or foundation of their choice.

This is something that means a lot to Stephanie and me because this community has supported our family in ways that go far beyond real estate.

Nine years ago, when our daughter Madyson was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, our world changed overnight. During one of the most difficult times our family had experienced, friends, neighbors, clients, schools, organizations, and people throughout our community surrounded us with an overwhelming amount of love and support.

As our oldest daughter, Brooklyn, pursued her passion for barrel racing and rodeo, we once again watched our community step up. Businesses, friends, organizations, and families have supported her journey, encouraged her, sponsored her, and celebrated her successes right alongside us.

And sometimes community support shows up when you least expect it.

Recently, someone we have never met and never worked with left a negative review about our business. Before we could even fully process it, people in our community stepped forward. Past clients, friends, and people who actually know our family and know how we conduct our business spoke up and showed their support.

It reminded us of something important.

Our community has always had our back.

And we want our community to know that we have theirs too.

We have always tried to give back through our schools, youth organizations, athletics, 4-H, local events, sponsorships, fundraisers, and organizations that make Hays County and Central Texas such a special place to live. But as our business continues to grow, we want our giving to grow with it.

That is why, moving forward, every Alexander Home Team client gets to help us decide where a portion of our success goes.

After closing, our client will select a local nonprofit, charity, school organization, youth program, foundation, or other qualifying local organization that is meaningful to them. The Alexander Home Team will then make a $200 donation in that client’s name.

It is about families. Relationships. Schools. Small businesses. Kids. Neighbors. And the community we are fortunate enough to call home.
